The 2016 Interregional African American Catholic Evangelization Conference

The IAACEC invites your participation in its tenth gathering. This conference offers you new ideas, relationships and fosters collaboration and networking.

The overall goal of the conference is evangalization which strives to achieve the National Black Catholic Congress’ Youth and  Young Adult principles, while preparing all participants to fully engage in the life of their parish and promoting the National Black Catholic Congress

The center of the conference is Prayer and Worship, surrounded by daily General Sessions, featuring speakers of national prominence. Breakout sessions are scheduled to provide opportunities for participants to learn about effective programs and practices.

The George Findley Ministry Institute will be offered a day before the conference begins. The ministry Institute provides a professional tract that will enhance your skills in the area of Youth Ministry, Formation, Evangelization, and leadership. Participants can earn Continuing Education Units if approved by your diocese.

Much collaboration has gone into making this conference what it is today. The seeds that were planted in 1993 fell on good soil and now we find ourselves continuing to embrace evangelization for people of the African Diaspora.
